SATURNALIAS (Sonata #6), along with other cycles for piano¹, was written as a dedication to Antonii Baryshevskyi’s 30th anniversary. These compositions are a kind of musical offering to a great talented pianist whom the composer was truly inspired.
¹Among them are TROLLING’S STUDIES, 13 ROOMS WITH A VIEW TO THE NORTH-WEST, THREE ETUDES and NOCTURNALIES. In total – 30 pieces.
